August 22, 2011 :: Tomoko S :: 暑い夏の一日、榛名山でのリバートレッキングを楽しみました。涼しい川沿いをお散歩？と思いきや、なんと川の中をジャブジャブ、時には腰まで浸かりながら歩きまーす。歩く・・・のですが、でもそれがなかなかスリル満点！意外に流れが急だったり、いきなり深くなったり、滑ったり・・・コツを教わりながら上手く歩くのはパズルを解くように面白かったです！途中ザイルを使った崖上りのオマケもあって、大満足の体験でした。パワースポットで有名な榛名神社や温泉のある榛名湖もすぐ近く、美しい自然を味わいながらぜひまた季節を変えて非日常の体験を楽しみに訪れたいと思っています。

Emily and Naoki came home with so many great stories and memories all from 3 days. It’s amazing the transformation that I saw in them, not only in their English but also the change in their disposition after spending time with no TV/games and being in the outdoors. In only 3 days, they firmed wonderful relationships with other kids like them. I think growing up “half” can be a unique experience and it probably feels good to be around kids like yourself. We would really like to take advantage and go to camp again next year! Again, many thanks.

I made new fiends and I thought the food was very nice and I thought outside was a lot of nature so there are a lot of interesting things outside. Every day was a new day of interesting things.
